Modifications so far with detailed descriptions, pictures and maybe some instructions and links to other places. :)

This motorcycle was purchased damaged from Fowles Motorcycle Auctions here in Melbourne Australia. Many insurance written-off machines (and worse) are auctioned here monthly. It has been a great way to find a machine to re-build, race, or road ride but not so much these days. Every man and his dog seem to have caught on and prices are now so high that its rare to find a machine worth buying.

When I got this bike home the usual process began.
1. Tear it all down.
2. Assess the damage.
3. Look for what could be repaired, what to be replaced.
4. Start looking for parts.
5. Begin repairs, etc….

Luckily I had find a damaged example where it hit rear-end damage mostly and very little damage to the front. This is good because it tends to mean
1. Straight Forks
2. Straight front discs
3. Headlights are still ok
4. Fairings and fairing mounts less damaged .. more likely repairable
5. Radiators still ok
6. ECU undamaged!!!!

The last point is the most important but together they all represent BIG cost savings for repairs.
